I’m Poem Johnson, an artist and filmmaker. I’ve been winning grants for my art since 2009. In 2026 the François Schneider Foundation chose me from 408 applicants for its Contemporary Talents award, worth $17,000. Every week, I share what I’ve learned so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
